Book Talk & Signing with Law School Dean J. Rich Leonard In-Person
Come to a spirited and inspiring book talk and signing with J. Rich Leonard, Dean of Campbell’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Leonard’s autobiography, From Welcome to Windhoek: A Judge’s Journey, traces his adventures from a childhood in the Davie County farm community of Welcome, NC, to his global reach sharing his judicial skills and expertise with developing judiciaries in developing countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
Leonard will sign copies of his book, available at the event, on April 19, 2-4pm, in the library’s Periodical Reading Room. No RSVP is needed.
Dean of the Law School since 2013, Leonard is a former US Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina. In 2021 he was named Bankruptcy Law Lawyer of the Year by Global 100 Magazine and recognized among the top CEOs of 2021 by Triangle Business Journal. He also was named Lawyer of the Year by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly in 2014.
