Harnessing the Power of Storytelling to Build Connections with Students
Facilitated by: Allison Lee, Tim Marks, Michele Miller
Wednesday, April 16, 3-4 pm
Join us for a one-hour workshop exploring how storytelling can transform your teaching practice. Among other things, stories can help students develop their academic identities, make you more approachable as an instructor, connect course content to student interests, build empathy, and normalize the process of failure and growth. This interactive session will provide practical techniques for incorporating storytelling into your teaching across disciplines.
Light snacks provided.
